Nancy Orkish is a dream come true! Even now, two months after the fact, I still glow about those flowers.
I will never forget how my heart leapt up when I saw the bouquets she created.
I planned my wedding from Halifax,
so Nancy and I were limited to e-mails and phone calls. I did not even give her a lot of time! She managed to
surpass all my expectations. Everyone at our wedding was breathless over the flowers: the yellows and pinks
and blues in the garlands on the head table, around the cake and circling the punch bowls. And my bouquet!!
It was perfect. She had not even seen my bridesmaid's dresses and she composed arrangements that matched them
beautifully. Nancy has a gift, and my husband and I feel very smart for having had the good sense to ask her
to share it with us on our wedding day.

David and I had a fall, evening wedding in a small museum and Nancy did all the decorating and flowers. The museum
setting created some unique decorating opportunities and challenges. Although I didn't articulate it very well,
Nancy understood exactly the atmosphere we wanted to create and we were thrilled with the results. I knew I could

a variety of flowers, including long stemmed roses, in beautiful silver and crystal containers for a classic
theme. When friends threw us a baby shower, Nancy created a celebration of new life, built around apple blossoms

The garlands were especially gorgeous. John has a VW Beetle (which has an extremely broad dash), so we placed
the garlands on it after the wedding and drove around with me watering them with my water bottle every
day .... I got all misty when we had to throw them out!

Nancy Orkish's use of innovative floral arrangements and decorations for our wedding was simply inspirational.
